Week Beginning 21/11


Monday

Today was the start of the final week and moving towards the deadline. I started by starting on getting multiple enemies to spawn. It was quite difficult finding videos I was able to follow without spending ages going back through previous ones made by them so I could actually follow along. This made it very difficult to be able to understand the code I was writing.

Tuesday

I finished the multiple enemy spawns today which I’m happy with so now I started to try mess about with collison which I was expecting to be simple but struggled to get it working.

Thursday

After struggling a lot to get the enemies interacting with the player I decided to try creating a pick for the player. This was equally as hard as I still couldn’t get collision working in my game. I also sent my game off to some friends today to try. The feedback wasn’t very helpful as there wasn’t really a game to play I needed feedback as part of the project.

Friday

I was able to get the review tasks done and format my files properly. It took longer than expected to get it done since I forgot how to get access to the uni computer from home. This is annoying since any extra time would’ve been helpful in trying to get my game actually working.
